• Confers with management, engineering, and other staff regarding manufacturing capabilities, production schedules, and other considerations to facilitate production processes
• Develops, evaluates, and improves manufacturing methods, utilizing knowledge of product design, materials and parts, fabrication processes, tooling and production equipment capabilities, assembly methods, and quality control standards in close co-operation with sites
• Supports manufacturing site engineering team to plan, direct, and coordinate manufacturing processes
• Confers with vendors to determine product specifications and evaluates products according to design output and quality standards
• Acts as the responsible manufacturing engineer in multiple project/product teams, as the single point of contact for the definition of any topics related to manufacturing and processes
• Supports design engineers in ensuring quality and feasibility of design, including design phase reviews and design to manufacture capabilities and approves process documentation
• Identifies and develops cost reduction opportunities during product lifecycle

• Bachelor or Master degree in Engineering or natural science
• 5+ years of prior work experience in a multi-site environment, preferably within regulated industries (GMP or equivalent)
• Experience in project management and leading a team
• Experience of leading/working within cross-functional teams will be deemed a plus
• Understanding of lean principles in production and supply chain
• Fluent in English and at least one other language spoken and written
• Excellent communication skills
• Dynamic and self motivated person, comfortable working under pressure
• Distinct customer orientation both internally and externally
